“Summer is well and truly here” doesn’t sound so right as we head into the last full month of l’été. It’s been a sweaty scorcher and while many people would associate this weather with dresses and skirts, I often find myself reaching for pants in this time of year. I mean, inner thigh chafing is a real malady and your skirt flying up and showing your knickers to the world is not as glamorous as Marilyn Monroe made it out to be. So when your bottom half isn’t exactly sunshiney, your top has to be and I think this light yellow ruffled number from River Island fits that bill perfectly.
