The second weekend of October I headed to Andalusia, the southwestern region of Spain. I stayed in the city of Seville and took a day trip that Saturday to Cordoba (read about that here).
Me in the Plaza de España!
I really loved Seville! It was one of my favorite places that I visited while in Spain. The city was so easy to navigate and walk around, making it feel cozy and charming. At the same time, the city had lots of sights to see! It honestly felt like every time I turned a corner, there was something historical and significant.
I visited the Iglesia del Salvador, the Catedral de Sevilla, the Real Alcázar de Sevilla (where some Game of Thrones filming was done), the (exceptionally beautiful) Plaza de España, the Giralda tower, the Metropol Parasol, the Torre del Orro, and the Triana neighborhood. I also passed by lots of other important and beautiful buildings because all the walking that I did. Lucky for you, I took lots of photos! Check them out below and PLEASE add Seville to your travel bucket list (I know you’ve got one somewhere).
