My Current Obsessions: Vianel Phone Cases, Replica Perfumes, and Cacao!

Over the past few weeks, I have fallen in love with lots of new clothes, accessories, and other products. I’m sure many of you are the same and to help you expand your lust and love lists, I wanted to share my current obsessions with you!

A few weeks ago I got a new iPhone 7, an event that prompted a hunt for a perfect phone case. I wanted something stylish, yet timeless and I found just what I was looking for when I discovered Vianel.

Vianel makes iPhone cases, hats, wallets, and cardholders in high-quality leather and other animal skins. What I think makes this brand so cool is that each item can be personalized for free. I got a black lizard case with my initials and an emoji in gold foil (if you want more text or emojis though, it will start costing you). Nothing screams luxury like customization and so I love how easy this brand makes it to attain that look!

Maison Margiela Replica Scents

My mission for the next few weeks is to find myself a signature scent—a fragrance that will become synonymous with me the more I wear it and the more other people smell it. I’m not yet sure which exact fragrance this will be but I do know that it will come from the Maison Margiela Replica collection. The name replica comes from the fact that each fragrance is meant to duplicate the scent of a particular item or place at a particular time. On a recent visit to Sephora I smelled all eight of the fragrances and I was amazed at how well Maison Margiela achieved this goal. In my opinion, the most freakily accurate scents were “Lipstick On,” “By the Fireplace,” and “At the Barber’s.” The latter, as well as “Jazz Club” and “Lazy Sunday Morning,” are my favorites and I have samples of each to see how they smell on me. Hopefully I will choose a scent soon! (if you’re also curious about fragrances, I did lots of sniffing and Byredo, Nest, and Le Labo also make great scents).

CACAO

Made by cold-pressing unroasted cocoa beans, cacao powder is the purest and most raw form of chocolate. As I continue my journey towards eating less sugar, cacao has become a staple ingredient for me. I love adding a spoon to my oatmeal or my three-ingredient (banana, egg, and oat) pancakes. It provides me the same yummy flavor as chocolate, but without all the sugar and with endless health benefits, like loads of antioxidants, anti-inflammatory and heart healthy properties, and mood boosting capabilities. Cacao is a “superfood” for a reason and I seriously recommend you get some, either in powder or nib form, to try in your favorite recipes!
