New Blazers in Old Places

I consider myself fortunate to have had a really solid group of friends during middle school (high school was a whole other ball game, but I’ll discuss that at a later date). While some people have stories about mean girls or boy drama, all I have are laughter-filled memories of silliness. Some such memories come from when all my friends would celebrate the end of yet another school year at a beautiful, historical house and garden in my hometown. I returned to the same house last summer to shoot several outfits, but this summer I hadn’t been once… until last week that is, when I dragged my mother (yes, she’s been my main photographer for the past few months) there to take some photos.

The plentiful greenery provided the perfect backdrop for this pink blazer from Mango, which I wore over a mustard yellow camisole from Aritzia to match the subtle yellow lines in the plaid. White jeans brightened the look without overpowering the blazer and my new Staud bucket bag completed the outfit.

Do you have any favorite spots to take photos? Let me know in the comments below. I can’t wait to hear what you have to say!
