Along with sequins and fur, I love myself a good metallic. Metallic clothing’s shiny and attention-grabbing quality makes a lot of people think they’re only for nights out, but I think the most statement making way to wear them is in the daytime as if you were wearing just another solid color. That’s exactly what I did with this look where I paired a silver, pleated midi skirt with a casual slogan tee shirt. Finishing the look are my red tassel earrings that match the tee shirt’s red writing. Lastly, I kept it simple with a pair of black-heeled mules. My minimal accessories let the skirt and, more literally, the shirt do the talking.
