Like many other fashion junkies, I have been in a torrid love affair with Gucci for the past few seasons. They have been producing countless luxurious bags, knits, coats, shoes, and denims, but the hefty price tag has kept anything with a Gucci label out of my reach (just a middle-class college student here). Embroidered denim, in particular, has become on their staples and since I havenโt been able to get my hands on such a piece from Gucci, I have turned to the many skirts, jeans, and jackets at Zara that all embrace this trend. I found this floral embroidered mini skirt there and knew that it would be a great piece for summer and for transitioning into autumn (throw a chunky knit over this skirt and youโre set). I paired it with a white button-down whose voluminous ruffled sleeves are anything-but-boring. Finishing the look are my red tassel earrings (this is one of my favorite trends right now), my oval Ray Ban sunnies, my much-loved Cult Gaia bag, and a hair of dainty gold block heels. Gucci or not, I am obsessed with my skirt and this whole outfit!
